HighVibes recently had the pleasure of organising a conference, a memorable three-day experience for an international client, Orbico, during their annual General Manager Summit. This event was a unique opportunity for 75 managers worldwide to immerse themselves in Hungarian culture, build lasting connections within their team, and enjoy various activities while learning and sharing their knowledge at a professional conference.
Day One: Sightseeing and Gala Dinner
The first day of the event started with a sightseeing adventure set against the picturesque backdrop of the Buda Castle. Participants visited local sights such as the Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church, walked through the historic cobblestone streets and explored Hungary’s rich traditions and hidden gems.
The evening culminated with a gala dinner and live music that amplified the festive atmosphere. In every detail, from the table settings to the menu, the conference was designed to minimise waste.
Day Two: Orbico Group Derby at Kincsem Park
The second day of the conference was an unforgettable visit to Kincsem Park, Hungary’s historic race track with a rich heritage. HighVibes transformed this location into a thrilling spectacle, featuring the “Orbico Group Derby,” a harness racing event where horses were named after countries where Orbico is located.
Guests had the unique opportunity to partake in the races’ excitement by placing bids on their chosen horses. The atmosphere was charged with competitive camaraderie as they cheered for their “country” from the restaurant’s windows or the spectator’s terrace.
The evening at Kincsem Park continued with another exquisite dinner, where a DJ provided the festive atmosphere.
Day Three: Danube Boat Trip and Eco-Friendly Gifts
On the final day of the conference, the Orbico team embarked on a boat trip along the majestic Danube River. This scenic journey allowed them to admire Budapest’s iconic landmarks differently.
As a gesture of appreciation, the managers were gifted Hungarian Stühmer chocolate and a notebook created by the Autistic Art Foundation. These gifts provided a piece of Hungarian culture to take home and supported a meaningful cause, aligning with HighVibes’ commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
